Module 3 SportsUnit 1 Nothing is more enjoyable than playing tennis.教学目标【知识目标】1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组: baseball, volleyball, boring, exciting, relaxing, score, already, matter, hurt, enjoyable, Olympics, stadium, miss, mind, plenty, plenty of.2、能正确使用下列句型:Whats the score? Whats the matter with you? Thats too bad!Im not sure about that. Bad luck! Never mind!Thats because. Staying at home was easier than going to the stadium. 【能力目标】1、能够听懂谈论运动的谈话并回答相关的简单问题。2、能用形容词及其比较级描述球类运动。【情感态度目标】通过对本单元的学习,了解各项球类运动,增加对体育锻炼的兴趣。教学重难点【教学重点】1、通过谈论观看电视足球比赛节目的对话谈论观看和参加比赛的感受。2、掌握双音节和多音节形容词比较级的表达方式。【教学难点】能够熟练运用形容词、副词的比较级形式比较不同的体育项目。教学步骤Step1. Lead-in 1. Show the study aim of Unit 1.设计意图:通过目标展示使学生明确本课重点2.Ask students some questions. T: How was your weekend?What do you usually do at the weekend? Do you usually do some sports at the weekend? I usually do some sports at the weekend. I think it is good for our health. Do you agree with me? Today lets talk about sports.设计意图:通过话题讨论,激活相关的词汇等背景知识。Step2. Presentation1. Show students some pictures about sports. Elicit basketball, football, table tennis, volleyball, tennis and baseball. T: What sports do you like? What sports do you know?设计意图:通过话题讨论,激活相关的词汇等背景知识。2. Talk about the sports. Ask students to make sentences.T: We have known your favourite sports. Would you like to know my favourite? I like basketball very much, because its very exciting and relaxing. But I dont like baseball, because its very boring and difficult. How about you? 设计意图:通过话题讨论,激活相关的词汇等背景知识,为听力做情节的准备3. Work in pairs and ask and answer.T: I not only like playing basketball, but also like swimming. But I think swimming is more relaxing than playing basketball.”设计意图:通过话题讨论,激活相关的词汇等背景知识,为听力做情节的准备Step3. Listening 1. Ask students to listen. And answer the questions. What sports does Daming like? What sports does Betty like? What does Daming think of football?T: Lets find out the soprts our old friends like.2. Check the answers together.设计意图:考察学生听懂文章大意,获取相关信息的能力。扩展听力内容,巩固学生对生词的理解。Step4. Listening and reading 1.
