Unit 3 Weather (A Lets learn &Lets chant)一Teaching Analysis 本节课教学内容为PEP小学英语四年级下册 Unit 3 Weather part A Lets learn and Lets chant. 这一单元的主要教学内容是学习形容天气的英语表达, 本课时通过天气预报员预报中国几大城市的气温和天气状况，学习运用warm coldcoolhot这些形容词来表达天气情况。本课时的单词对多数学生来说并不难，个别同学通过自学就已经掌握了一些重点单词，就是weather report对他们来说有些难度，而且运用方面还不够熟练。 二Teaching Aims a. 能够听、说、认读单词hot, cold, warm, cool, weather。 b. 能够熟练运用句型Its warm/cool/hot/cold in Beijing/来介绍不同地方的天气特征。 c. 培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。 三Teaching Key Points and Difficulties 1. 重点：能听、说、认读单词weather , warm , cold , hot , cool。 2. 难点：运用新学的单词和句型模拟天气预报。 四Teaching Aids ：多媒体 五Teaching Procedures Step1. Learn the new wordweather. a. 利用学过的单词father, mother, brother来学习单词weather的发音。 b. 注意“ea”和“th”的发音。 3. Learn the English names of the four cities: Harbin, Beijing, Lhasa, Hong Kong 4. Learn the new word-cold. a 利用拼读法来学习单词cold。 b. 渗入语音教学。 延伸到其他有相同语音组合的生词：old, told, fold.。 c. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。 d呈现句子 Its cold in Harbin today. 5.
