Module 2 Highlights of My Senior YearGrammar(I) Predictive Clause 【使用说明】通过学案学习,完成书中及练习册对应习题。【学习目标】1.通过导学案提示,系统掌握什么是表语从句及其常用引导词; 2.能通过做题自行归纳总结表语从句的用法特点; 3.能区别表语从句与宾语从句,并在做题中充分运用这一语法项目。【重难点】引导表语从句的引导词;表语从句区别与宾语从句的地方。【知识链接】1. 预习提示:书18-19页出现的(可能)生词:P18predicative 表语(的) subject 主语(的) experience(-s) n._ belief (n.) 信仰(v)_ express (v) 表达 emphasise (v)_ truth (n)_ structure (n) 结构 issue (n)_ 2. 回忆你所能想出的系动词,至少五个_3. 选做题划出下列句子的成分(提示:主?系?表?宾?引导词?等等。)C(1)My suggestion is that you go there by yourself.B(2)It looks as if its going to rain.A(3)What made his parents proud is that their daughter had been admitted by Oxford.B(4)I wondered whether you can go with us. 【自主学习】?Thinking: What is a “Predictive clause”?_1. 试从下列例句里 总结出 表语从句的先行词(即系动词)-1) China is no longer what she used to be. 今日的中国不再是过去的中国了。2) The question remains whether they will be able to help us. 问题还是他们能否帮我们。3)At that time,it seemed as if I couldnt think of the right word.当时,我似乎怎么也想不出一个恰当的字眼来。4) It appears that she was wrong. 看来她错了。5) He looks as if hes tired. 他好像累了。summary_ 2. 试从下列例句里总结出表语从句的引导词-A1)He looked just as he had looked ten years before. 他看起来还与十年前一样。2)It sounds as if someone is knocking at the door. 听起来好像有人在敲门。summary_B1)Thats because he didnt understand me.那是因为他没有理解我。(Thats because强调原因)2) Thats why he got angry with me. 那正是他对我生气的原因。(Thats why强调结果) 注: what引导的主语从句表示结果或名词reason作主语时,后面的表语从句表示原因时要用that引导,不宜用because.Eg:The reason why I was sad was that he didnt understand me.我难过的原因是他没有理解我。summary_C. 1) The problem is who we can get to replace her. 问题是我们能找到谁去替换她呢。2) The question is how he did it. 问题是他是如何做此事的。3) That was what she did this morning on reaching the attic. 那就是她今晨上了阁楼做的。summary_D. (2003北京春)A. what makes me feel excited B. whatever I feel excited aboutC. how I feel about it D. when I feel excited解析 A选项的意思是“_”; B选项的意思是“_”; C选项的意思是_”; D选项的意思是“_”。四个选项中_最适合跟代表“game”的主语that对应,充当表语从句。 【拓展联系】 浅谈- 表语从句与宾语从句宾语从句和表语从句都属于名词性从句。其作用跟名词在句中的作用相同。故充当宾语的句子叫宾语从句,充当表语的句子叫表语从句。(1)对于宾语从句要掌握以下三点: 语序: 从句的语序必须是陈述句语序, 即“主语 + 谓语”这种形式; 时态: 当主句是一般现在时或一般将来时的时候, 从句可以是任何时态, 而当主句是一般过去时的时候, 从句, 从句时态必须是过去时范围的时态 (即:一般过去时, 过去进行时, 过去完成时, 过去将来时); 连接词: 当从句意思完整, 主句意思肯定时, 连接词用that, 且可以省去, 当从句意思完整, 主句意思不确定或含否定含意时, 常用if或whether(是否), 当从句意思不完整时, 连接词则是代替不完整部分的特殊疑问词。 区别与联系:A 表语从句一定要用陈述语序。B 不可以用if,而用whether 连接表语从句(as if 例外)。False: The question is if the enemy is marching towards us.Right: The question is whether the enemy is marching towards us.Right: It looked as if he had understood this question.C 不像宾语从句,在有表语从句的复合句中,主句时态和从句时态可以不一致。Right: The question is who will travel with me to Beijing tomorrow.Right: The question is why he cried yesterday.D that在表语从句中不可以省掉。表语从句只能置于主句之后,而主句的动词只能是联系动词。客服唯一联系qq 1119139686 欢迎跟我们联系
