第六章广西各地名胜,Lecturedby:gangmasterTu,NanningMunicipality(南宁),NanningMunicipality(南宁)Nanning,thecapitalcityofGuangxiProvince,isnotonlythepolitical,economicandculturalcenteroftheprovince,butalsoplaysanimportantroleintheeconomicdevelopmentofsouthwestChina.NanningbordersVietnam,isneighbortoGuangzhou,closetoHongKongandMacau,andfacesSoutheastAsia.Thisadvantageouslocationmakesthecityacommercialandcommunicationcenter,openingChinatoSoutheastAsia.,Pleasantclimateendowsthecitywithevergreentreesandfragrantflowersallyearround,hencethenameGreenCity.Insuchabeautifulland,morethan30ethnicminoritygroupshavebeenlivingharmoniouslyfor1,680years.ZhuangisthelargestminoritygroupofChina.Over90%ofthemliveinGuangxi.Theirhistoryandethniccultureaddcharmtothecity.AsthelinkingpointofthetourroutefromGuilintoBeihai,Nanninghasalotofattractionstooffer:,grandDeTianWaterfall,beautifulMt.QingxiuandMt.Daming,quietYangmeiAncientTown,mysteriousHuashanMuralaswellasscatteredparksandgardens.Visitorswillbeenchantedandmaywanttospendmoretimeinthecity.DeliciouslocalfoodssuchasvariousporridgesandricenoodlesaswellasSuanye(fermentedfruitsandvegetables)cannotbeenjoyedanywhereelseinChina.Nanningisamoderncity.Accommodationandshoppingarediverseandwelldevelopedforvisitors.,Hotelsandhostels(招待所)ofdifferentstandardscanmeetvariousneeds.Inthecityscommercialcenter,supermarkets,departmentstores,specialtycommoditystreets(特产街),bookstoresandotherretailmarketsofferavarietyofmerchandise.Whennightfalls,colorfulstreetlampslitthecity.Underthelights,thelocalsbecomeactive,visitingnightclubs,gyms,bars,andcoffeehouses.Peopleofallagescanbeseenwalkingorrelaxinginthecitysmanysquaresoralongtheriver.,ConvenienttransportationsystemsmakeNanningeasilyaccessible.NanningWuxuAirport(NNG)andNaningRailwayStationserveashubsforothercitiesinChina.Fivemainbusstationstakepeopletootherprovincialcountiesandcities.Publicbusesandtaxiesareplentifulandinexpensive.Nanningwelcomesvisitorsfromallovertheworld.Itsbeautifulsubtropicalsceneryandexoticethnicminorityculturehavebeenattractingmillionsoftouristsforyears.,Mt.Qingxiu(青秀山),正门,青秀山风景区,青秀山风景区,青秀山风景区,TheQingxiumountainrangeisthegreenlungofNanningCity.Located5kilometers(about3.1miles)southeastofthesuburbsofNanningandborderingtheYongjiangRiver(邕江),themountainrangeisrenownedforitsbeautyandtheclearwaterswhichrunthroughit.ItisnowondertheyarecountedasoneoftheEightWonderfulSceneriesofancientNanning.Theundulating(连绵起伏的)chainsofmountains,verdant(青翠的)trees,liquidsprings(清澈的泉水)andhistoricsitestogethermakeMt.Qingxiuagoodplacetomeetthe,charmofantiquetasteandtranquility.Mt.Qingxiu,orTaiqingPeak(泰青峰),ismadeupof18peaksincludingQingshanPeak(青山岭)andPhoenixPeak(凤凰岭).Therangecoversatotalareaof4.07squarekilometers(about1.6squaremiles),includingwaterareaof14,667squaremeters(about17,542squareyards)andgreenbeltareaof25,000squaremeters(about29,901squareyards).Becauseofthemanylakesandtheemeraldgreen(翠绿的)treesonthemountains,Mt.QingxiuistheprimarysourceoffreshairforthedowntownNanningarea.Accordingly,itearnedthenamethelungofNanning.ThemainsightsinMt.QingxiuareancientLongxiangTower(龙象塔),CycadsGarden(铁树园),Tianchi(天池),Yaochi(瑶池),SanbaoHall(三宝堂)andThailandGarden(泰国园)etc,eachofthemdeservesanessentialvisit.Mt.QingxiuwasoriginallynamedQingshan.Onthetopofthemountstandsapagoda,LongxiangTower,whichisthesymbolofthemountain.,Mt.QingxiuthelungofNanning,Mt.QingxiuthelungofNanning,YongjiangRiver(邕江),ThetowerwasbuiltduringtheMingDynastyandrestoredin1986.ThepagodaretainsthearchitecturalstyleofMingDynasty;inlaidwithgreenbricksandtilesandfeaturinga9-tieredoctagonalexterior.Fromthepagoda,thevistaismagnificent,overlooking20li(about6.2miles)andapanoramicviewofNanningCity.Everytimethewindblows,youwillhearthewavesthroughthelushforests.TheMt.Qingxiupinewaves(松涛)arefamousintheregion.,Onthemountainsidearetwobigmanmadelakes-TianchiandYaochi.Tianchisparklesinthesunlight,andthegreenpines,blueskyandwhitecloudsmirroredinthewaterdescribeabeautifulpainting.Thelakesideisagoodplaceforresting.InsideYaochiaretwofiguresofXiWangMu(HsiWangMu,QueenMotheroftheWest)andontheeast,inthegranitecliff,isavividanaglyph(立体影片)oftheEightImmortals(八仙)inthelegend.,青秀山天池与瑶池,AroundYaochiisanorchardofpeachtrees(桃树园).Inthespring,thebloomingpeachtreesofferyetanotheraspectofbeautytotheregion.SituatedtothewestofYaochiistheSanbao(threetreasures)Hall,wheretherearethethreeoblatejosses(神像)oftheZhuangnationalityofChina.Meltingculturewithnationalities,thebiggestjadelyingBuddhainSoutheastAsiaandthebiggestsittingbronzestatueofGuangong,(afamousheroinThreeKingdomsPeriod(220-280)inChina,werebothworshippedinthehall.,ThenameofthehallwaschangedintoKwan-yinBuddhistTemple(观音殿).TheCycadsGardeninMt.QingxiuisthelargestgardenofitskindinChina.InMay2002,thousandsofcycads(alsocalledirontrees)bloomed.Astheirontreerarelyblooms,itwasconsideredamarvelousspectacle.Mt.QingxiuisastressduringthedevelopmentofNanningCity.Inadditiontothesavingandrestoringofthehistoricsites,somenewsightswereestablished.,ThailandGardenisthefruitoftheexchangeandcooperationbetweenNanningandacityofThailand,whichwasdesignedbyaThaiarchitect.Strollinginthegarden,flavoredwithThaiaccents;youmaytastetheexoticglamour(异国的魅力).Alsoitisconvenientthattherearecablecarsforyoutoappreciatethelandscapeoflakesandmountains.Withthecontinuousrestorationandconstructionofnewsites,Mt.Qingxiuhasbeenchangingwitheachpassingdaytowelcomethetouristsallovertheworld.,青秀山中泰友谊园与龙象塔,NanhuLakePark(南湖公园)NanhuLakeParkislocatedinthesoutheastofNanningCityandfeaturesaquaticsceneries(水上景观)andsubtropicalgardeninglandscapes.Itcoversanareaof1.3squarekilometers(about0.5squaremiles)andaquarterofthewholeparkiscoveredbythelake.NanhuLakewasonceabrookconnectedtoariverbutduringtheTangDynasty(618-907),amajorfloodoccurredandsubmergedthesurroundingfieldsandhouses,whichwashowNanhuLakewascreated.,NanhuLakePark(南湖公园),NanhuLakePark(南湖公园),NanhuLakeisanidealplacetoentertainyourself.Inthepark,youcanfullyappreciatetheviewsofvariousplants,suchasPinang(槟榔树),Chinesefanpalms,andothertropicaltrees.Thereisagardenwithhundredsofpreciousflowersandbamboo,inwhichthreeinnergardensareveryattractiveplaces.ThereareChineseherbalgardenswithover200Chineseherbs,orchidgardensandbonsaigardens(盆景园).Avisitinthegardenswillrewardyouwithnotonlyabundantknowledgebutalsothepleasuresofnaturesbeauty.,NanhuLakePark(南湖公园),Abovethelake,thereisanine-archbridge,ascenicbridge,andalongbankwhereyoucangetaviewofthelake.Fisheateries(小饭馆)willalsoprovideyoudeliciouslocalfood.Eitherboatingonthelakeorfishingattheshorecanofferyouanescapefromthepressuresofcitylifeindeed.Inaddition,thereisamuseumsetupin1984tocommemoratetwouprisingsinhistory.ItwasconstructedintheGuangxifolkstylewhichisalsooftouristvalue.,NanhuLakePark(南湖公园),GuangxiEthnicRelicsCenter(广西民族文物苑)GuangxiEthnicRelicsCenter,occupyinganareaof24,000squaremeters(about28,704yards),isanoutdoorexhibitioncenterthatcombinedwithknowledgeandentertainment.Itfeaturesrelics,folkbuildings,ethnicflavor,andfolkcustomsoffourminorities,Zhuang,Dong,Yao,andMiao.,GuangxiEthnicRelicsCenter,Uponenteringthecentralgate,onewillseeahugetimbal(巨鼓)whichisawonderfulachievementofthebronzeculture(青铜文化)inancientChina,withahistoryofmorethan2,700years.Therearemorethan320timbalsinthecentre,amongwhichtheYunleiwenTimbal(云雷纹鼓)isthelargestintheworld.Itweighsaround300kilograms(about661pounds),withadiameterof165centimeters(about65inches)andstands67.5centimeters(about26.5inches)inheight.,GuangxiEthnicRelicsCenter,Typicalbuildingsofseveralminoritiescanbeseenhere,suchasdwellinghousesofZhuangpeople,bamboobuildingsoftheYaos(瑶族竹楼),housesconstructedonwaterbytheMiaopeople(苗族吊脚楼)andfinally,thedrum-towersofDongpeople(侗族鼓楼).Theirdailyutensilsandhandicraftsarealsodisplayedineachrespectivemodelhouse.Variousfolkperformanceswillbeshownduringfestivals.ThisiswhereonecanfullyappreciatetheenchantinganduniquecustomsoftheminoritiesofGuangxi.,GuangxiEthnicRelicsCenter,Whilstthere,onecanalsovisitseveralworkshopsthatdemonstrateextractionofoilandsugar(榨油榨糖),ricegrinding(碾米),paperandpotterymaking(造纸与制陶),etc,eachofwhichisuniqueonitsown.Ontopofthat,touristsvisitingtheMiaobuildingwillbetreatedtoitsuniquefolkdishes.Accommodationisavailabletovisitorsinthecentreaswell.,JiahechengHotSpringValley(嘉和城温泉谷)Location:NanWuStreet,northeastofthecity,about13kilometers(abouteightmiles)fromtheInternationalConvention6counties(Liujiang,Liucheng,Luzhai,Rongan,SanjiangDongAutonomousCounty,RongshuiMiaoAutonomousCounty),Location:Liuzhouislocatedinthenorth-centralpartofGuangxiborderingonGuilinintheeast.ItsharesaboundarywithHunaninthenorthandGuizhouinthenorthwest.History:LiuzhoubelongedtoGuilinShireduringtheQinDynasty,anditwasnotuntiltheWesternHanDynasty(206BC-24AD)thatthecitythatwastobecomeLiuzhoucameintobeing.DuringtheTangDynasty(618-907),thenameofthisareawaschangedfromMapingCountytoLiuzhou.,PhysicalFeatures(自然特征):LiuzhouhasatypicalkarstlandformwiththeclearLiuheRiverflowingthroughthecity.Itissurroundedbymountainsintheeast,westandnorth.Theterrainconsistsofriverbendsinthecitycenter,karstplainsinthenorthernpart,isolatedpeaksandvalleysinthesouth,andriverterraces,karstbasinsandhillsintheeast.Climate:Liuzhouenjoysasubtropicalmonsoonclimatewithmoderatetemperaturesandabundantrainfall.,Thesummersarelongandhot,whilethewintersareshortandnotsocold.,LongtanScenicArea(大龙潭公园):Itisaspectaculartouristzonethatcombinesbeautifulnaturalscenery,distinctivecustomsoftheethnicminoritygroups,andthesubtropicalkarstlandscape.,DragonPoolParkinLiuzhou大龙潭公园,一、简介1、3千米2、规划面积1084ha.建成151。7公顷;3、由1湖2潭24峰构成4、集岩溶山水、少数民族风情、亚热带植物景观为一体subtropicalplants,二、山水胜景1、龙潭(雷塘)神龙兴雷降雨makethunderandraining2、八龙喷雪坝九龙镜湖(1820度,双潭烟雨)铭文SprayingWaterDamwithEightDragonsHeads,三、雷龙古迹柳宗元祈雨亭1、雷塘庙TempleofThunderImmortal2、祭祀台回音SacrificingPlatform-echo3、祈雨文碑亭TabletPavilionforPrayingRaining4、柳宗元办学、挖井修渠、释放奴隶、种柑栽柳,四、少数民族风情园1、民族风情村2、傣亭3、风雨桥(102米,76孔,程阳风雨桥)鼓楼墩-frusta,FishPeakHillPark(鱼峰山)ThisparkisinthesouthernpartofLiuzhouandfeaturessuchscenicspotsasFishPeakHill(Yufengshan),CarpPeak(Liyufeng),andLittleDragonPool(Xiaolongtan).FishPeakHillisconnectedwithabeautifullegend,whichsaysthatThirdSisterLiu,abeautifulgirlandagood
