.四年级全册备课教学内容:全书共分十一个模块,内含一个期末复习模块。 Module1 Friends Module2 London Module3 Picnic Module4 Robots Module5 Size Module6 Music Module7 Countries Module8 Changes Module9 Weekend Module10 Accidents Review Module教材分析:本册教材是供小学四年级下学期使用的。全书共分11个模块,内含一个期末复习模块。每一个模块分为两个单元。一般情况下,第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容,第二单元提供若干任务型练习,包括一首歌或小诗。歌谣或小诗的学习,目的有三:一是培养学生的语感和节奏感;二是提高发音的正确性;三是通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣,介绍一定的西方文化。其中的一些不常用的单词,不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。在本册中,我们将学习星期的表达方法,谈论有关郊游的情况,初步了解有关伦敦和美国的基础知识;我们将进一步学习如何表达能力,如何谈论将来发生的事情;我们还将学习如何描述过去的动作与状态,特别是如何在讲故事的进修讲述过去的动作与状态。教学目的:一、培养学生的语感和节奏感。二、提高发音的正确性。三、通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣,介绍 一定的西方文化。教具准备:录音机、课件等教学措施:一、确定恰当的教学目标。二、创造良好的学习气氛。三、在课堂上尽量使用英语,适当使用汉语。四、鼓励、帮助学生,恰当纠正错误。五、利用多媒体教学。教学进度表: 第一模块单元分析本模块分两单元Unit 1 Shes a nice teacher.anUnit 2 Hes cool.整个模块介绍了怎样描述人物的性格特征?要求学生能够用简单的句子对好友的性格、外形进行描述。同时复习了上学期学过的一些单词fat thin small big tall short ,从而引出naughty shy nice clever等几个新单词。在本模块中,出现了两个表示程度的副词a bit very,分别表示非常和有一点儿可以修饰后面的形容词,鼓励学生在造句时使用适当的副词。 Module one Unit One She is a nice teacherTeaching aims:This is Ms Smart . Shes a nice teacher.Teaching Importance and difficulties:How to describe?Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps: Step 1 : Warm up 1) Sing a song. 2)Simply greetings Step 2: Learning and Practising 1)Listen and pointTell the students open their books,and look at the first picture .Answer the teachers questionIs this a dog?The students respond.Now, Im going to play the tape. I want you to listen and tell me who is nice?(The teacher plays the tape as many times as necessary.)Write the new words on the blackboard: nice shy clever naughtyThe teachershould explain the neaning of these four words.nice: means pleasant.shy: means nervous and embarrassed,especially when you are with people you dont know.clever: means intelligent naughty: means badly behaved.Then the teacher should make statements containing those words. 2)Listen and say Please look at Acitivity2.Im going to play the tape again. This time Im going to pause it after each person speaks. Then I want you to repeat the sentence.Then you will tell me thecorrect adjective to describe that person.(The teacher does more examples with the class and also with individual students.) 3) Point and sayLook at Acivity3,the teacher holds up the book and points to the pictureofXiaoyong.Explain to the students that when we are some distance away fron an object or person, we must use that instead of this.And describes himherit usinga suitable adjective. What can you see? Now, Im going to play the tape. I want you to listen carefully and find out who is clever.(The teacher plays the tape as many times as necessary.) Now look at Acitivity2,please. Read the dialogue with a partner.(The students read the dialogue.) Now work with a partner,please. Student A tells Student Bto look at a character in Activity 1. Student Bdescribes that character using an adjective.(The students work in pairs and the teacher monitors the dialogues.) Step3: Homework Listen to the tape carefully and write the new words.教后小结:学生对本单元内容掌握较好,能根据所学巨型进行自由交流。第二模块单元分析本模块由London si the capital of England和This is the River Thames.两个单元组成,介绍怎样描述一座城市或一处景物?本模块向我们介绍了伦敦是英国的首都、世界著名的大城市,是英国的金融、文化、艺术和教育中心,泰晤士河穿越而过。伦敦历史悠久,名胜古迹众多,拥有许多著名的建筑物和旅游景点,其中包括伦敦桥、伦敦塔、塔桥、大本钟、白金汉宫、海德公园等。歌曲London Bridge is falling down.是一首传统的英国歌曲,让我们感觉一下歌曲的旋律和内容,并边唱边做游戏。 Module2 London unit 1 London si the capital of EnglandTeaching aims: London si the capital of England. And its very big!Teaching Importance and difficulties:How to describe?Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2)Move round the classroom, pick up an object and say,What s this? Point to another object and say Whats that?The students can respond,Its a (n). Thats a (n).(Do many examples with the class.) 3)Have the students do the activity in pairs. Remind them that the wordthisis used for people or objects we are touching or close to .Thatis used for people or objects that some distance away.Step2: Learning and practising 1)Get the students to look aat the pictures and see if they can work out what is happening. Ask them question in Chinese .e.g: What are the children looking at in the first picture? What are the children doing in picture4? What are they looking at in the last picture? 2)Revisebig and small,and pick up or point to objects in the classroom, say ,This is That is small or This is That is big.(Do many examples with the class.) 3)Tell the students that you are giong to pick up or touch things and they have to say if they are big or small.Remind the students that they will have to use thats as they will be some distance away from the objects.(point to some of the things in the story and have individual students tell you if they are big or small.) 4)Point and say revise the adjectives the students know, including colours,e.g. big small,naughty.clever,short,thin,fat, small,long, red,yellow. Now point to objects on different pages in the book and say what each one is . The students have to make a statement about each object using an adjective.( Have the students continue the activity in pairs.)Step3: Homework unit 2 This is the River Thames.Teaching aims: This is the River Thames Its long and wide.Teaching Importance and difficulties:How to describe?Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2) Rebise adjectives. Tell the students that you are going to say an adjetive. They have to find something in their books that the adjective describes. Ask two or three students to say which object they chose. Step2:Learning and practising 1) After doing Listen,point and say,tell teh students to close their books. Explain that you are going to say the first word of a two-word place name. These places are all in London.The students have to say the second word of the two- word name. 2)If possible, have the students somtinue the activity in pairs.They should take turns to say the first word. 3)When playing guessing games, the students should be free to ask as many questions as they want to find out what the object is.e.g. Is it.? However, they can only guess the name of the object once.e.g.Is it.? Tell the students that you are going to say adjectives and they have to think of monuments in China that these adjectives describe.(It is acceptable for the students to say the names of the monuments in Chinese. 4)Have the students look at the picture and describe it.Tell teh students that this song.London Bridge is falling down is a traditional English song. Explain that London Bridge is a very famous bridge in London. Play the spoken version of the song and have the students repeat each line. Now play the tape and have the students sing the song.Step3: Homework教后小结:学生对本单元内容掌握较好,能根据所学巨型进行自由交流。基本能够认读所学的几个著名的建筑物。并对其进行简单的描述。 单元分析 本模块由Unit 1 Will you take your kite? 和Unit2 On Sunday Ill go swimming两个单元组成。向我们介绍怎样特定并谈论计划、讨论一周七天的计划?本模块单词量稍微多一点,学习星期的表达方法和运用will you.?Yes,I will.No,I wont. Module3 Picnic Unit 1 Will you take your kite?Teaching aims: Were going to have a picnic. Will you take your kite? Yes,I will.No, I wont.Teaching Importance and difficulties:Make and discuss the planation.Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2)Tell the students to pretend they are going on a picnic.Get them to think of things they might take. Write the words on the board. Encourage the students to think of both objects and food. 3)Tell the students to close their books. say that you are going to play the tape. The students have to tell you which objects Amy will take on the picnic. If you made a list in the warmer activity, leave it on the board. After listening,ask the students if any of the things on the list are nentioned on the tape. Tick those items. 4)Tell the students to choose one object that they are going to take on the picnic. It doesnt have to be on the list they made in the warmer,but they must know the word in English. 5)Now ask the students questions. If you ask about something that any of the students have written down ,those students must stand up. The winner is the last student to stay seated.Step 3: Homework Unit 2 On Monday Ill go swimming.Teaching aims: On Monday Ill go swimming. Will you play football on Monday? Yes, I will. No, I wont.Teaching Importance and difficulties:Discussion the plan.Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2)Write the numbers1-7 on the board . Write the words Monday to Sunday under the numbers. Have them predict the meaning of the words, Monday,Tuesday and so on(The days of the week.) 3) Point to the words and say them. Have the students repeat them. 4)Now tell the students that you are going to say a day and they have to use an ordinal number and say which day it is? Step 2: Learning and practising 1)Have the students suggest activities that they do and write a list on the board ,e.g. play football,ride a bike ,go swimming,read a book ,watch TV, go to the cinema, go to school, walk in the park, play with a friend,do homework. 2)Then draw the following calendar on the board: 3)Have the students copy the calendar in their exercise books.They should write activities on the calendar. These can be real things that they will do or activities they would like to do. 4)Then have the students work in pairs and tell one another what they will do on the seven days of the week.e.g.On Monday I will watch TV. 5)Have the students look at the picture and say what type of song this is (a clapping song). 6)Have the children say the names of any clapping songs or games they know.Write their suggestions on the board. 7)Play the tape and let the students listen to the melody.Then play the spoken version of the song and have the students repeat each line. 8)Divide the class into seven groups. Assign each group a day of the week respectively.i.e.Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,Saturday, Sunday.Have the students in each group write their assigned day on a piece of paper. 9)Explain that they must hold up their day of the week as they sing athat word in the song. 10)now have the class sing the song.Step 3: Homework单元分析本模块由unit1Robots will do everything和 unit2 Will it be windy in Beijing两个单元组成。分别向我们介绍怎样用will谈论将来可能发生的事情;运用动词can 描述能力;谈论将来的天气状况等等。解释rain与rainy的区别:rain所指的是短时性的降雨,而rainy的意思是“多雨的”,指的是一段时期内的气候特征。与它一样的还有snow与snowy的区别。单元小结: Module 4 Robots Unit 1 Robots will do everything.Teaching aims: It can walk . Robots will do everything.Teaching Importance and difficulties:How to use willand can?Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2) On the board draw a robot (draw a square for the head, rectangle for the body, rectangles for the arms and legs, squares or rectangles for the eyes, nose and mouth on the head). 3)Then write It can.under the picture. 4)Point to the robot and say,This is a robot.Have the students repeat the sentence .Then say, It can walk and begin to walk around the class.Try to walk in a very awkwardrobotway.(do more example by pointing to the robobt and saying,It can.and then miming the action.) 5) Now have individual students say something they think the robot can do and you have to mime the action. 6)Have pairs of students come to the front .Student Asays what the robot can do and StudentB does the action. You may want to write a list of suitable verbs on the board.Step 2: Learning and practising 1)Have the students look at the pictures.Ask questions in Chinese ,e.g. What is Sam looking at in picture 1? What is the robot doing in picture2? What has the robot done in the last picture? 2)Now say that you are goint to call out the names of different objects and people in the pictures and the students have to point to them. 3)Point and say Explain to the students that you are going to point to the different pictures in Acitivity 3 and make statements about them . They have to tell you if they are true or false by calling outTrueorFalse.(do a lot examples with the class.) 4)Now have the students sontinue the activity in pairs. After three turns,they should swap roles.Step 3 : Homework Unit 2 Will it be windy in BeijingTeaching aims: It will be windy in Beijing. Will it be windy in Beijing? Yes,I will.No,I wont.Teaching Importance and difficulties: Discussion the weatherTeaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2)Introduce some of the new vocabulary by drawing some pictures to represent the different weather patterns. Copy the pictures from the textbook,draw your own or get the students to draw some. 3)Write the appropriateweatherwords underneath and place the pictures on the wall of the classroom. 4)Look outside and say,Its.today Hold up or point to the appropriate weather symbol. You will have to sayraining or snowingif there si rain or snow. Note that you will also have to teachcloudyas it is in the poem. 5)Now perform mimes to show the students the meaning of the other weather conditions or make a statement and have the studets do an appropriate mime.Step 2 : Learning and practising 1)Play this memory game before doing Activity 2. Have the students close their books.Call out a city and the students have to say the type of weather in that city.(do a lot of examples. Then have the student continue the activity in pairs. After three turns, they should swap roles.) 2)Have the students look at the books and say what they think the chant will be about(the weather) 3) Ask the students what is their favourite time of year and why. Find out if they prefer being hot or cold 4)play the spoken version of the chant and get the students to repeat. 5)Play the tape and have the class say the chant as they listen. 6)Divide the class into three groups. Explain that each group will say one stanza of the chant. 7)Explain to the students that they can do some actions as they say the chant. They can move their bodies slightly as they saywindyto indicate that they are being blown about by the wind. They can fan themselves with their hands as they say the wordhot When they saycloudy,They should look upwards as though they are looking aat the sky.They can shiver as they saysnow.When they say playin the last stanza, they should give a big smile.Step 3 : Homework 单元分析本模块由 Unit 1 Amys taller than Lingling.和Unit 2 Beijing is bigger than Tianjin两个单元组成。分别向我们介绍了怎样比较和描述两个人的差异和怎样比较和描述两个事物。同时介绍了中国的文化:北京长城、黄河、长江、颐和园、天津等等。复习上学期学过的形容词,并学习它的比较级形式。单元小结: Module 5 Size Unit 1 Amys taller than Lingling.Teaching aims: Amys taller than Lingling.Teaching Importance and difficulties:Teaching tools:RecorderTeaching steps:step1: Warm up 1)Sing a song 2)Revise instructions. Tell the students that you are going to give them some instructions and they have to do what you say. Write the following structures on the board: Sit down,Stand up,Point to. Touch your. Look at.Open your. Say.and so on. 3) Do many examples with the class and use the game to revise vocabulary . Make sure that the students can follow the instructions while seated;they shouldnt move around the classroom. 4)Now have the students continue the activity in pairs.Step 2 : Learning and practising 1)Before listening to the tape,have two students come to the front of the class.Stand them next to each other and say who is taller. During this activity, be carefrl not to embarrass anyone who is sensitive about hisher height. 2)Do more examples with other pairs of students to give them plenty of exposure to the adjective+-er +than.structure. 3)Now have another pair come to the front of the class.Choose a competent student and have himher make the comparison. You may need to write .is adjective+-er+than.on the board. 4) Find out the ages of the students who are out in the front. If they are the same age, you will need to find out which month they were born.Then say who is older.e.g. Hu Wei is older than Li Qing. Do more examples with other pairs of students. 5)Listen and say Tell the students to close their books. Say that you are goint to play the tape again. However,this time when you pause it ,they have to say what the next sentence is. Then start the tape and they can check if they are correct. 6)Point and say Draw some stick figures on the board. Name them or label themA,B,Cand Drespectively.Write the age of each character underneath the drawings. Now divide the class into two groups.Explain that each group must take turns to make statements
