参赛教案基本信息 作者姓名林文彬性别男出生年月1979年8月工作单位 四川省绵竹市孝德中学 邮政编码618200通讯地址四川省绵竹市孝德中学 联系电话13628077530电子邮箱56471363qq.com所用教科书书名英语(新目标) Go for it!所教年级九年级所教册次、单元第3单元教学课题Should I be allowed to make my own decisions? 教案背景教材分析:这是一篇阅读课,主要谈论的是有的父母担心孩子的业余爱好可能会影响其学习,因此禁止孩子发展自己的业余爱好,而孩子们是否应该被父母允许在这些方面自己作决定。在上本堂课之前,将文中所要涉及的新词汇在上一堂课中已经教给了学生,而且在上一堂课也已经布置了让学生下去预习这篇课文的作业。虽然这是一篇阅读课,但是由于现在学生已经是初三了,即将面临中考,因此不可能纯粹地只管阅读内容,而不在课堂中讲解考试将会考到的内容,所以在课堂中花了一些时间来讲解6个重要的短语,这也算是为他们参加中考作一些准备。学生情况分析: 文中所谈论的问题实际上也是绝大多数学生正面临的问题,因此他们对这类主题的文章一定会非常有兴趣,会主动学习,学有所得。 教学目标分析(1)知识目标 学生能够认读以下单词,能够看见汉语意思说出这些单词,能够说出这些单词的派生词和相关词:obey, achieve, race, realistic, taught, importance, succeed。 学生能够用get in the way, worry about, now that, be serious about, spendon, care about这6个短语自己造句。 学生能够理解课文内容。(2)能力目标学生阅读后做积极的事情,能够灵活运用所学新语言。(3)德育目标父母有时对我们的要求可能有点苛刻,但是我们要理解父母的苦心,他们所做的一切其实都是他们对我们的爱的一种体现。 教学重点、难点分析 教学重点: (1)学生理解课文内容。 (2)学生掌握以下6个短语的用法:get in the way, worry about, now that, be serious about, spendon, care about. 教学难点:学生能够用这6个短语造句:get in the way, worry about, now that, be serious about, spendon, care about.教学方法1.Translation method2.Listening method3.Reading method4.Writing method教学过程设计步骤1:问候学生,然后复习上一节课学习过的词汇。具体操作方法:复习以下单词:obey, achieve, race, realistic, taught, importance, succeed。这些词汇在上一节课已经教给了学生。本堂课中,这些词汇将会出现在课文中。复习词汇时采用的方法是:学生看着课件里的中文意思,说出其英语,同时也要给学生讲解这些单词的派生词和相关词汇,具体有:achieve的名词achievement, importance的形容词important, succeed的名词success和形容词successful, taught的动词原形teach。设计意图:复习课文中涉及的词汇,为学生的阅读扫清障碍,同时讲解派生词和相关词也是拓展学生的词汇量。步骤2:听录音,判断句子的正误。具体操作方法:上一节堂已经布置了让学生下去预习这篇课文的作业,因此在听完录音后请学生判断以下4个句子的正误不会有太大的难度。可以叫学生先阅读一下这4个句子,然后放录音,让学生带着4个问题去听。听完后,学生开始答题,完成后请几个学生来回答,订正答案。以下是这4个句子和答案。(1) Liu Yu wants to be a professional athlete. (T)(2) Liu Yu thinks he should be allowed to make decisions for himself. (T)(3) Liu Yus parents allow him to practice running on school nights. (F)(4) Liu Yu thinks his parents dont care about him. (F)设计意图:学生练习听力,在预习的基础上再次理解课文内容。步骤3:学生跟着录音小声地朗读课文,同时勾画出指定的6个短语。 具体操作方法:放录音,学生跟着录音小声地朗读课文,同时勾画出指定的这6个短语:get in the way, worry about, now that, be serious about, spendon, care about。放完录音后,问学生各个短语出现在文中的哪句话中,让学生对这些短语有个初步的印象,他们可能会根据上下文猜测这些短语的含义是什么。设计意图:阅读课当然要读,所以这一次是让学生跟着录音读,相当于教师在教读,不过由于教师的发音通常没有录音标准,所以用录音教读。由于录音在朗读课文时,是没有停顿的,所以不可能录音读一句,学生跟读一句,当然,在操作时,老师可以随时在录音上按暂停键,但是如果这样的话,会花费许多时间,导致的后果就是本堂课的内容完成不了,所以只能放录音,学生跟着读,但又不能太大声,否则就听不见录音在读什么了。勾画6个短语的目的是让学生在听录音跟读的时候,能够集中注意力,同时也为步骤4做准备。步骤4:讲解6个短语,学生用这些短语汉译英。 具体操作方法:依次讲解这6个短语的含义:get in the way, worry about, now that, be serious about, spendon, care about。每讲完一个短语,就请学生起来用这个短语汉译英(汉语已给出)。6个汉译英的句子为: (1) 打电子游戏已经妨碍了他们的学习。参考译文:Playing computer games has got in the way of their studies. (2) 他们从不担心钱。参考译文:They never worry about money. (3) 既然你是一个中学生,你应该照顾自己。参考译文:Now that you are a middle school student, you should take care of yourself. (4) 你应该认真对待这个问题。参考译文:You should be serious about the problem. (5) 我花了两个小时在家庭作业上。 参考译文:I spent two hours on my homework. 我花了两个小时做家庭作业。 参考译文:I spent two hours doing my homework. (6) 他的父母真的很关心他。 参考译文:His parents really care about him.设计意图:学生会运用这6个短语,同时也为初三的中考做准备,因为这几个短语在考试当中也常常出现,比如含有way的几个短语的区别、spend短语等等。在课前设计这几个汉译英的句子时,也充分地考虑了这些汉语必须与学生的日常生活息息相关,必须是他们非常熟悉的。步骤5:做关于以上6个短语的课堂练习题。 具体操作方法:给学生一点时间先完成下面的习题,然后每道题请一名学生起来说他的答案,师生一起检查答案。(练习题在课前已经打印在题单上,课堂上发给学生,每人一份,当然题单上不仅仅是这个Exercise 1,还有下面步骤7的Exercise 2一起在一张A4纸上。)Exercise 1:用方框中所给短语的适当形式填空。worry about, be serious about, now that, spendon, care about, get in the way1. He doesnt _much time _his homework.设计意图:上一个步骤讲了这6个短语的含义及用法,此步骤就是检查看学生是否已经掌握。步骤6:学生一齐大声朗读课文。 具体操作方法:做完以上Exercise 1后,学生一齐大声朗读课文。设计意图:阅读课当然要读,这一次是让学生一齐大声朗读这篇课文,再次熟悉这篇文章内容,为下一个步骤完成Exercise 2作铺垫。步骤7:课堂练习题:学生做一篇完型填空。具体操作方法:让学生将教科书关闭,然后给学生一定时间先完成这篇完型填空,然后请学生起来讲解他们的答案,可以每个空格请一名学生,也可以问学生为什么选这个答案。 Exercise 2:完型填空 Many teenagers have hobbies. But sometimes these hobbies can get 1 the way of schoolwork, and parents might 2 their childrens success at school. A. succeed B. success C. successfulKeys: BCABC BACBA设计意图:这篇完型填空是我自己对课文缩写而成的一篇短文,将课文里面一些重要的地方空出来了,让学生去选择。通过做这篇完型填空,可以了解学生是否已经理解了课文的内容。步骤8:小结本堂课的内容 具体操作方法:对本堂课内容作一个小结,小结内容参见下面的板书设计。设计意图:对本堂课内容作一个小结,让学生明白这堂课主要学习了一些什么知识。步骤9:布置作业 (1) 口头作业:大声朗读课文2遍。 (2) 书面作业1:用下面所给词语的适当形式填空。obey achieve race realistic importance succeedYou should be _. Dont dream all day.If you work hard, I think you can_ dreams soon.We should _our parents.At last, he _and became a great soccer player.Everyone can see the _of good health.Jones ran fastest and won the _.Keys: realistic, achieve, obey, succeeded, importance, race (3) 书面作业2:用以下短语各造一个句子:get in the way, worry about, now that, be serious about, spendon, care about。设计意图:第一个作业是督促学生下去再次熟悉文章,第二个作业是检查学生是否已经掌握本堂课所复习的单词,第三个作业是看学生能否灵活地运用本堂课所学习的6个短语。板书设计: 本堂课大部分内容是通过多媒体课件和题单的形式呈现给学生的,但是有两个部分还是需要在黑板上板书。(1)黑板的左边板书以下内容:obey achieve race realistic taught importance succeed (2)黑板的右边板书以下内容:get in the wayworry aboutnow thatbe serious aboutspendon sthcare about【特别说明】由于本堂课的辅助课件里面含有课文的录音文件,所以文件较大,压缩打包下来课件都有8MB,如果通过邮箱发的话,可能需要比较长的时间,所以就没有把课件放在本教学设计中一起传过来,如果确实需要查看课件,请发邮件到56471363qq.com,我会将课件发过来。 教学评价设计和教学反思评价和反思内容: (1) 学生是否已经掌握本堂课所复习的单词。这点通过书面作业1可以得出评价结果。 (2) 学生是否已经掌握本堂课所学习的6个短语,要能够灵活运用它们。这点通过书面作业2可以得出评价结果。 (3) 学生是否已经理解课文。这点通过课堂练习题Exercise 2可以得出评价结果。评价方法:作业与测验法。作业是教学的有机组成部分,是教师针对教学目标和教学内容布置给学生的学习任务。通过对作业的评析,教师可以了解学生对课堂所学知识的掌握情况、判断教学目标的达成度和教学实施的有效性。教案中涉及到的资源课堂练习题:Exercise 1 用方框中所给短语的适当形式填空。worry about, be serious about, now that, spendon, care about, get in the way1.
