Uint 3 A Special Member There is a special member in my family -a lovely dog named Betty. It has lived with us for two years, and we all love it. Last week, my parents took me and Betty to a park. At noon, when my parents were busy getting ready for the picnic. I walked to a river nearby. Betty followed me happily. I fell into the river when I was trying to pick a flower. Betty barked and jumped into the water at once. When my parents heard Betty barking, they ran to the river quickly and they saw Betty was pushing me to the bank with its mouth. Winter is very cold. It often snows. Children like to go skating or make snowmen .Which season do you like best?Unit 2Unit2 How to Plant a TreeFirst,dig a hole and make sure that its large enough for the tree. But the hole should not be too deep. Then knock a long, strong stick into the earth in the hole. Remember to find a straight one. Next, put the tree in the hole next to the stick so that its straight. Put the earth back in the hole again. Push it down hard with your feet several times. Finally, tie the tree to the stick to keep it straight and water it well.Unit 2 Plants Are Important Plants are very important on the earth. The wind and water cant carry the dirt away when there are plants. Plants also make everything beautiful. Plants are very important to people and animals. Life couldnt continue without plants. This is because plants take energy from the sun and turn it into food. It means plants can make food from the air, water and sunlight. But people and animals cant do it. Animals eat plants and people eat animals and plants. So animals and people need plants to live. In a word, we cant live without plants. So there are so many plants around us. Unit 1My Favourite Season-SpringSpring is coming. Its my favourite season. The weather becomes warmer and the days become longer.The wind begins to blow gently. It makes people feel comfortable. Trees turn green and colourful flowers come out. How beautiful the world is. People take off heavy clothes and go outdoors. Children often go cycling or fly kites in the park. I like playing soccer with friends in the warm sun. “A years plan starts with spring.” Everything begins to grow in spring. Lets work hard from now on.
