Warm-upT shows the four photos of the animals to ask Ss to name the animals and tell where they are from. T shows the photos of another three animals to help Ss know about more animals and the places they are from. T shows a photo of a baby lion to elicit the words and phrases “cute, grow become strong, become dangerous”.Step 2. Pre-readingT shows the photo of John, Anthony and Christian to encourage Ss to predict the story. T asks Ss to ask and answer Step 3. Reading1. Reading Ss read the story and check their prediction.2. Reading T asks Ss to complete the story with the key words from the box. Ss check the answers in pairs. T helps Ss to reason their answers according to the clue in the passage.3.
