The used coffee card should then be voided To void a card properly, use a sharpie to draw a line through each row of stickers, write VOID across the top; on the back, write the locations name (Rotunda, Vista, Overpass, Mercer, or Court), the date (mm/dd/yy is best), and your first nameLocationDateFirst NameCups, Shots, and PumpsCup SizeShotsTullys/StarbucksPumpsTullys/StarbucksAmericano ShotsShort(8oz)1/11/21Tall (12oz)1/12/32Grande(16oz)2/23/43Steaminq Milks1) Find a container of the milk needed2) Grab fresh, un-steamed milk.3) Pour the amount of milk needed into a clean milk-steaming container If you dont know how much to pour, measure using the cup before anything is in it.4) Place a clean thermometer into the milk-steaming container(Not applicable to the espresso machines that read temperatures)5) Place the steamer wand into the milk-steaming container so it touches the bottom of the container 6) Turn the milk steamer on.7) Raise the steamer wand up just far enough out of the milks surface as to cause a hissing sound8) After 10 sec on ds, lower the wand back dow n to the bottom of the con tainer 9) Turn off the steamer once the milk has reached the required temperature10) Take the steamer wand out of the container.11) Clean the espresso wand with the rag on-top of the espresso machine12) Turn on the steamer for a moment with the steamer wand pointed down. Make sure the steaming wand is pointed down!13) Firmly pat the milk container against the counter14) Pour the required amount of steamed milk into the drink using a clean spoon to hold back the foam15) Pour the required amount of foam into the drink using the spoon to pull it forward, out, and into the drink16) Place the spoon back into its container17) Rinse out the milk-steaming containerDrinksAmerica no (Hot):Double cup the drink because the water is too hot for one cup Pour water in first When pouring in the water, keep in mind how much room is needed for the shots and whether or not the customer would like room. Run the shots on-top of the water If the person would like room, leave about l/8th of the cup unfilled If the person would not like room, fill the cup up to where there is a just little space to help prevent spilling.America no (Iced):Fill the iced cup to the top with ice. Run the shots over the ice. Pour in cold water When pouring the water, keep in mind whether or not the costumer would like room. If the person would like room, leave about l/8th of the cup unfilled If the person would not like room, fill the cup up to where there is a just little space to help prevent spillingCaramel Macchiato (Hot):Pump in the amount of vanilla syrup needed Steam and pour in milk When pouring the milk, keep in mind how much room is needed for the shots and caramel sauce Run the shots over the milk in the cup Squeeze caramel sauce over the top left and right a few times, forward and backward a few times, and down the center If the customer would like the drink stirred, stir the drink up.Caramel Macchiato (Iced):Pump in the amount of vanilla syrup needed Pour in cold milk When pouring the milk, keep in mind how much room is needed for the shots, ice, and caramel sauce Run shots over the milk in the cup Put in ice with some room left for caramel sauce Squeeze caramel sauce over the top left and right a few times, forward and backward a few times, and down the center If the customer would like the drink stirred, stir the drink up.Cappucci no:Run shots into cup Steam the milk while shots are running When steaming the milk for a cappuccino, aerate the milk more When steaming the milk/foam, keep in mind whether the cappuccino is dry or wet. A wet cappuccino should have the steamer wand out of the milk for Ion ger than 10 seconds, and a dry cappuccino for much Ion ger tha n 10 sec onds. Pour the milk then foam over the shots in the cup A dry cappuccino is all foam A normal cappuccino will have a little steamed milk, then the rest foam A wet cappuccino will have some more steamed milk, then the rest foamChai Tea Latte (Hot):Mix the amount of drink needed by pouring half the amount with chai and half with the required milk Steam the chai. Pour the chai into the cup, holding back the foam Top with a light amount of foamChai Tea Latte (Iced)Pour required milk into cup just over l/3rd of the way. Pour chai into the cup leaving room for ice. Top off with ice.Drip (Hot)Pour or pump drip into the cup If the person would like room, leave about l/8th of the cup unfilled If the person would not like room, fill the cup up to where there is a just little space to help prevent spilling.Drip (Iced)Fill the cup with ice. Pour the iced coffee (NOT hot coffee) over the ice. If the person would like room, leave about l/8th of the cup unfilled If the person would not like room, fill the cup up to where there is a just little space to help prevent spilling.Espresso (Hot)Ask the customer is he/she would like the espresso in the espresso cup or in a short cup Run the shots into the cupEspresso (Iced)Fill small water cup with ice Run the shots over the ice in the cupHot ChocolatePump chocolate into the cup Pump vanilla syrup into the cup (one, one# two, and two pumps for short, tall, grande, and venti sizes, respectably) Steam the required milk Pour the milk into the cup Stir the drink well. Add whip cream on top if requestedItalian SodaPump 5 pumps of syrup into the cup for a tall size and pump 7 pumps for a grande size Pour seltzer water into the cup 2/3rd of the way up. Pour in required dairy (usually half and half) leaving room for ice. Top off with ice.
