Unit 3 Is this your pencil?Period 3:SectionB(1a1e)教学目标本课时的主要内容是学会有关学习物品的新单词,例如:baseball. notebook等。学会失物招领和寻物启事的认读。话题是从学生的生活实际出发,生活中学生经常发生丢失物品或捡到物品的情况,引导学生利用寻物启事或失物招领来解决这类问题,培养学生接受因难,勇于挑战的能力。教学重难点重点:A、学习更多英文单词,例如:baseball、ring、watch、notebook等。B、复习询问单词拼写的句型和be动词引导的一般疑问句及其肯定,否定的回答。C、复习指示代词this、that、these、those及形容词性和名词性物主代词的用法。难点:本课时注重学生能正确运用自己所拥有的物品的单词进行实践性表达。教学用具:本课时所需的物品实物,图片、录音机、磁带。教学步骤:Step I Revision1、Show some real things to revise.T:Is this your book / ruler?S1:Yes,it is.T:Is that his green pen?S2:Yes,it is ./No,it isnt .The green pen is his .T:Are these your books ?S3:Yes,they are. /No,they arent .Theyre hers.T:Are those her keys?Ss:Yes they are . /No,they arent.They are mine.2、看图补全对话。 Whats this ? Its a 。 What color is it? Its 。 Is this her ? Yes, it is。 Spell it , 。 。Step2 Presentation1、Present the new words 。T: Whats this in English?Hold up a keySs:Its a key .T:Spell it ,please.Ss:K-E-Y .Teach the new words like this :baseball.watch computer ,game ,notebook ,ID card.ring,bag.2、Matching the Words with the things in the pictune .(la)T:Please Look at the picture of la .What can you see?Ss:We can see a pen ,a key ,a baseball,a watch ,an ID cardT:Now focus your attention on the word box,baseball is e .Please match the words and things in the pictures.3、How do you spell it?(lb)T:Pay attention to “Spell it ,please.”You can say :“How do you spell it ?”instead. How do you spell “watch”?Ss:W-A -T C- H.T:Follow me to read the now sentence:How do you spell “watch”?Ss:W-A-T-C-H T:Follow me to read the new sentence: How do you spell“watch”?Ss:How do you spell “watch”?T:Now lets play a spelling game: You can listen to our study monitor carefully, when he/she says How do you spell “Watch”? you must spell it as quickly as you can. If you are the first one to spell it ,I will give you a gift.4、Listen and circle the things you hear in la .(lc)T:There are two students who lost their things. Can they find their things? Lets listen to the tape and circle the things in the lost and found case.T:What did you circle? Ill give you one minute to discuss.Each group can list the things you circled and then report them.Ss:Baseball,5、Listen again .Write the things that belong to Linda or Mike. (ld)T: Listen and write the things in the chart.6、Doing pair work .T:Now please read the conversations in lb and practice in pairs.You can use your own things or the things in la to make your own conversations .
