Thats all for the ceremony.Thanks to all of you.(Lets welcome Prof. * to give a lecture of “*”)校领导授予*教授东南大学“客座教授”仪式致辞稿时间：20 年 月 日 时地点：主持人：尊敬的*教授、老师、同学们：上/下午好！首先我代表东南大学向*国*大学*教授的来访表示诚挚的欢迎！今天也非常高兴能在这里举行仪式授予*教授为我校“客座/名誉教授”。下面请允许我简略地介绍一下*教授的主要成就：*教授是智能电网、微网和可再生能源领域的国际知名专家，1997年当选为美国IEEE Fellow，目前担任IEEE 电力能源分委会的副主席职务。*教授先后担任过IEEE社会教育委员会主席（1999-2001）、IEEE 终身学习委员会主席（2002）、IEEE 出版委员会主席（2006）、IEEE产品与服务委员会的主席（2007-2008），IEEE出版董事会主任（2006）等社会职务；1996至1999担任美国国家科学基金会能源系统项目组主任。目前为IEEE-美国政府能源政策委员会成员。我们很荣幸能够聘请*教授为我校“客座/名誉教授”，通过学术交流与合作，将会开阔我们的研究视野，有利于我校*学科队伍的建设，提高学科的整体水平，促进学科的发展。我校是一所具有百年历史的以工为主的综合性大学。南京素有六朝古都、十朝都会之美称，文化底蕴丰厚。祝愿*教授在南京在我校期间工作顺利、生活愉快！最后，预祝东南大学和*国*大学的合作取得圆满成功！谢谢大家！Speech of Vice President at the Conferment CeremonyDistinguished Prof. *Ladies and gentlemen，Good morning/afternoon! At first, on behalf of Southeast University Id like to warmly welcome Prof. *, the professor of * University and the director of Advanced Research Institute of Virginia Tech. Its our great pleasure to hold this ceremony to celebrate Prof. * becoming a Guest/Honorary Professor of Southeast University.Here please allow me to give a brief introduction of Prof. *. Prof. * enjoys a high international reputation in the fields of smart grid, microgrid and distributed energy resources. In 1997, he was awarded the Fellow member of IEEE. He is now serving on the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Governing Board as the Vice President for New Initiatives and Outreach. He previously served as the Chair on the IEEE Society Education Committee (1999-2001), IEEE Lifelong Learning Council (2002), IEEE Publications Board (2006), and IEEE Products & Services Committee (2007-2008). In 2006, he also served as the Director of the IEEE Board. In 1996 he came to the US National Science Foundation as the program director in charge of the Energy Systems Program, the position he held till September 1999. Now He is the member of the IEEE-USA Energy Policy Committee.Its our honor and pleasure to invite Prof. * to be a Guest/Honorary Professor of our university. I believe this invitation will play an important role in promoting academic exchange and cooperation, widening the field of research, strengthening the construction of the subject of Electrical Engineering in our university, and improving the integrated level of the whole discipline. Southeast University is a comprehensive university with engineering as its focus. Nanjing city, known as the Capital of Six Dynasties, Metropolis of Ten Dynasties, has numerous cultural heritages.
