to do sth.“决定不做某事”。eg:She decided not to make the same mistakes.她决定不犯相同的错误。(2)decide on/upon“决定”。eg:He has decided on going there.他已决定去那儿。(3)decide+宾语从句“决定”。eg:We decide that we will try our best to learn English well.我们决定尽最大的努力把英语学好。【注意注意】make a decision to do sth.=decide to do sth.How often do you exercise?你多久锻炼一次你多久锻炼一次?how often“多久一次”,这是问做事的频率,常用often,always,sometimes,never,usually,hardly important“重要的事”不同点something用在肯定句中,anything用在否定句或疑问句中,notanything等于nothing,everything可用于各种句式中,意为“一切,每件事”something还可用在表示请求或期望得到肯定回答的疑问句中。如:Would you like something to eat?你想要点吃的吗?anything当表示“任何东西,任何事情”讲时,也可用于肯定句中。【注意注意】类似的复合不定代词还有:someone,anyone,no one,everyone和somebody,anybody,nobody,everybody以及somewhere,anywhere,everywhere,nowhere的用法与上述基本相同。How did you feel about sth.”表示“某人做某事很”,句中it为形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式。(1)句中的形容词如表示事物的特征或特点,表示客观形式的形容词,如easy,hard,difficult,interesting,important,necessary等,则用介词for。eg:Its very necessary for us to obey traffic rules.对我们来说遵守交通规则是必要的。(2)句中的形容词如表示人物的性格、品德、心智能力,表示主观感情或态度的形容词,如good,kind,nice,clever,foolish,right,(im)polite等,则用介词of。eg:Its very nice of you to help me.你来帮助我真是太好了It has the biggest screens.它的屏幕最大。它的屏幕最大。形容词和副词的最高级表示三者或三者以上(人或事物)中某方面的程度最高。常与in短语或of/among短语连用,说明比较的范围。常用结构:the+最高级+eg:He is the tallest【注意注意】形容词最高级前一般加定冠词the,而副词最高级前的the可以省略。Im more outgoing than my sister.我比我妹妹更外向我比我妹妹更外向。(1)than是连词,意为“比”,用于形容词、副词比较级之后,引出比较对象,并且比较对象前后要一致。(2)形容词(副词)比较级的用法;两者进行比较,其结构为“比较级+than”。表示“越来越”用“比较级+and+比较级”结构。表示“差数”用“数词+名词+比较级+than”。表示“不如”用“less+原级+than”。“the+比较级,the+比较级”表“越越”。表示“两者间最的一个”用“the+比较级”。【注意】(1)very,so,quite,too等后加原形。(2)形容词比较级前常加a to see my grandparents tomorrow.明天我将去看望我的祖父母。1.be able to,can两者均可表示有能力做某事,其后接动词原形,一般情况下可互换,其区别如下:词语词形用法be able to有人称和数的变化可用于多种时态,表示经过努力而有能力做某事。can没有人称和数的变化只有过去式could,could还可表示请求、允许和推测,语气比can更委婉,而be able to没有此用法。eg:Could/Can you please lend me some money?你能借给我点钱吗?We will be able to make it in 2020.到2020年我们就可以做到了。2.hope,wish,expect,look forward to四个词都有“希望”之意,但用法有区别:(1)hope to do sth.,hope prep.直到直到之时之时;在在之前之前;到到为止为止(1)until后既可以跟具体时刻或时间短语,也可以跟从句。用于从句中,主句中的谓语动词通常是延续性动词,表示主句的谓语所表示的动作一直延续到状语表示的时间为止,常见延续性动词有:live,wait,last,stay,work等。(2)notuntil“直到才”,主句中的谓语动词通常是非延续性动词,表示主句的谓语所表示的动作一直到状语表示的时间才发生,也可以理解为“在某时间之前不做某事或在某个时间之后做某事。”所以notuntil=notbefore=after。eg:I
