Unit 3 Could you please tell me where the restrooms are设计思路本单元语法为含有wh-疑问词的宾语从句,此结构强烈表现出语言的功能特征礼貌的索取信息时的语言结构。因此在开展本单元语法教学时,教师一方面要想办法让学生意识到礼貌语言结构特征;另一方面,要帮助学生突破含有wh-疑问词宾语从句的难点. 由于本课阅读短文中的重要语言点较多,所以以清晰、明了、简单的节奏迅速完成了第一部分的整体感知短文部分,把重点放在了对第二部分阅读短文的理解,对其中语言点的掌握和对准确、得体表达方法的应用上。材料分析本课时的主要内容是一篇有关如何礼貌地提出请求的短文。在进行短文学习之前,教师要准备几个助于理解短文内容的问题。要求学生带着问题去阅读短文。通过该短文的阅读学生学会如何“礼貌”和“得体”地使用语言。要求学生在规定时间内完成,这样通过对学生作答行为的观察,给学生反馈他们对学习要点内容的熟练程度及是否具有语言运用的得体意识。学情分析教学目标1.语言知识目标词汇:visit a foreign country, be similar to, spend time doing sthIts enough to do sth, It seems adj. to do sth 等重点句型:It is important to know how to ask for help politely. Learning to use correct language is not enough, we need to learn how to be polite when we make requests. So knowing how to ask for information politely is important. In English, just like in Chinese, we change the way we speak when talking with different people. The expressions you use might depend on whom you are speaking to or how well you know them. Usually in English polite questions are longer and include extra words. Sometimes we might even need to spend some time leading into a question or request. It might seem that speaking politely is more difficult than being direct. However, doing this will also help you become better at English, or any other language you wish to speak.四完成教材2c-2d的任务1.让学生再细读短文,从短文中找出所有的直接提问和礼貌的请求的句子填入2c的表格中。2.阅读2d所给表格中的请求句子,在第二栏中,如果你将向你认识的人提出请求就填A。如果你将向陌生人提出请求就填B;在最后一栏中填入你认为这些人会在什么地方。学生结对或组成4人小组,按照书本2a活动要求展开讨论,做记录,并在班级中简要交流.学生带着问题去阅读短文,在阅读完短文之后应该能回答所给出的问题读文章,做练习学生再细读短文,填表格通过带着问题去学习短文,从而达到导入新课的目的,同时也可以使学生积极反思自己的学习生活,与以前的生活作比较,科学安排好自己的学习时间。头脑风暴,激活阅读短文的相关知识背景,便于对阅读短文的理解带着任务反复阅读,加强语言输入过程本节主要是针对本单元的主要目标语言进行加强巩固训练,巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用。再次阅读短文,加强对短文的理解Step 4教师帮助学生理解3b的要求,重点口头训练写作话题所涉及的方面,可以采取教师提问,多个学生回答的方式,例如:教师:In your letter, you should introduce yourself.
