He has lived here for _ years since he moved here. quite few B. quite little C. quite a few D. quite a little 【点拨】由句中的复数名词“years”可排除B 项和D项;由句意“自从他搬到这儿,他在这儿已经住了多年了。” C。 I think Avatar is _ film. A. a quite educational B. quite a educational C. quite an educational D. very an educational 【点拨】选C。 quite a/an + adj. I think Hawaii (夏威夷) is _ place for people to go on vacation. A. quite a fascinating B. a quite fascinating C. very a fascinating D. quite fascinating a very, quite与rather的用法比较 3) 这三个词中,只有 rather 可以与比较级和副词 too(太)连用: Its rather colder today. The exercise was rather too difficult. (rather) This test is rather too difficult for me and rather too easy for you.2. My brother is rather better today.3. He runs rather faster. very, quite与rather的用法比较 4) rather 和 quite 有时可直接修饰动词,而very则不能这样用: I quite agree with you. We rather like the book. I rather want to see this film. 2. I dont quite agree with you. very, quite与rather的用法比较 5) 修饰right, wrong, impossible, alone等不可分级的形容词,通常只用 quite,而不用rather或very。 Thats quite impossible. 2. We asked them about their experience.experience Experience is the best teacher. He has not enough experience for the position. The earthquake was quite an experience. He wrote the book from his own experiences. experience vt. O ur country has experienced great changes in the last 20 years. He experienced a joy in helping others in trouble. He is a success as a leader but he hasnt _ in teaching. many experiences B. much experience C. an experience D. a lot experience 又因 a lot of, lots of, plenty of只用于肯定句,不用于否定句,因此选 B。
