Student analysis学情分析 2.1 Fundamental state基本情况 学生在初中及高一上期已经多次接触和理解，甚至运用过情态动词，因此对情态动词的用法已比较熟悉。只是本文中多处出现情态动词的不同用法，需要学生结合语境去加以理解，并争取能够比较灵活地运用。 2.2 Knowledge reserve知识储备通过初中及高一上期的学习，学生对情态动词的用法已有所了解。加之，在本课时之前，学生又通过对短文的阅读理解和词句分析加深了对文中情态动词的理解。本课时的任务就是激活学生已有的相关知识，并综合归纳和理解运用相关情态动词。 2.3 Class data本班实际 （同上）3. (-seeing exercise 2 on P5)5.2.1.3 Fill in the blanks and find out the usage of modal verbs.5.2.1.4 情态动词的语法特征（使用规则）：情态动词后（除ought和have外）只能跟原形动词。情态动词(除shall/will外)没有人称和单复数的变化，即情态动词没有第三人称单数形式。部分情态动词具有原形和过去式，但其过去式并不都表示过去，有的仅表示语气更加委婉，有的表示可能性更小。情态动词往往表示期待或估计某事会发生，其原形也并不都表示现在发生的事情，更不表示过去已经发生的事情（这时需用情态动词 + have done）。5.2.2 Using structures 语言运用5.2.2.1 Fill in the blanks with the suggested words, finding out how each word is being used.( -seeing exercise 1 on P43)5.2.2.2 Complete each of the following sentences using the modal verbs provided, finding out how each modal verb is being used. You want to be a doctor, so you ask your teacher about what subjects to study.You want to invite your friend to come to your party on Sunday.5.3.2 Abilities promotion -能力提升（运用与拓展）Make in pairs a phone call conversation of at least five turns each, thanking him/her for your holiday there and inviting a foreign friend to a Chinese festival.5.3.2.1 Remind Ss to get familiar with the expressions to use, with the help of the function files on P6.5.3.2.2 Prepare to make a phone call in 5 minutes. First, think of a Chinese festival you like best, thinking over the following questions: What does it celebrate? When do people celebrate it? What do people do in the festival? What part of the festival do you like best? Then, consider the following situations: How do you start a phone call to a foreign friend? How do you end the phone call? How can you express your thanks and invitation politely but firmly?
