I was in.What was the food like? It was spicy and tasty.等询问和表达过去的一些行为的话题二、教学重点,难点:1. 重点:正确理解并熟练运用本课新单词和句型2. 难点:能够正确运用一般过去时询问生活中的一些事件并能正确回答。三、 教学准备:教学PPT四、教学过程:Step 1. Greetings and Lead-in.T: Good morning, boys and girls.S: Good morning, sir.T: Sit down, please. Today, I am so happy, because I got a picture from my friend, John. Look! Is it a beautiful picture? ( S: Yes.) T: Oh, There is a topic on the picture. Lets say it. OK?S: Yes. “Unit 5 A circus in the Park, Vocabulary and Target.” (设计意图:导入课题,让学生形成感观印象。)(展示Canada和China的图片,并提问。)Step 2. Presentation.1学习新词Canada。 T: Look! This is my friend, John. We call him Uncle John。Can you guess? Where is John from?(展示John的图片)T: Yes, he is from Canada. Do you know something about Canada?(展示Canada的图片,并让学生朗读。)(设计意图:通过提问和图片展示学习词汇Canada,让学生更容易学习新词,也为后面的学习做铺垫。)2. 学习新词snowy 和tasty。T:Do you know something about Canada? Lets look at the pictures and answer my questions. (1) Whats the weather like in Canada? S: Its snowy and cold. (2) Whats the weather like in Taishan today? S: Its cloudy and cool. (3) Whats the food like in Canada? S: Its tasty. ( T: Yes, its tasty. And, its very cold in Canda, so they like the cold food in Canada, too.) (4) What about Taishans food? S: Its tasty. ( T: Yes, its tasty, too. And, its hot, not cold.)(设计意图:通过图片对Canada进行介绍,以让学生了解更多的语言知识背景,也为后面的语言输出做好准备和铺垫。)3.学习新词和新句型。 T: Uncle John likes travelling the word. He visited many places. Do you know where they are? (展示图片,并让学生跟读。特别注意:Island)T: Yesterday, we talked on WeChat. Lets look and read. (展示对话,学生跟读。注意学习新词:Thailand)4. 回答问题。(1) What was the weather like in Thailand? S: It was sunny and hot.(2) What was the food like? S: It was spicy and tasty.(学习新词:spicy 和tast.)(设计意图:通过WeChat情景学习新词汇和新句型,使学生能把词汇与句型相融合进行学习,增加学生的学习趣味,也为下面的学习做铺垫。)Step 3. Practice.1. 朗读单词. 2. 选择正确的答案.(设计意图:通过朗读单词,加强巩固新词汇的学习,并进行纠正;通过练习,让学生对新词汇的运用理解更深刻。)3. 听音, 回答问题. (内容是Target的对话.) 4. 听音,配对练习.(内容是Practice 1听力练习.)(设计意图:听音、模仿朗读和回答问题的方式,让学生更好地掌握Target的知识内容与本节的新句型;也通过听音配对练习,对所学知识进行巩固。)5. 填空练习. 6. Play a game. ( the Bang Bang Game.) 7. 根据图片写短文.8. 对话操练. 9. 书写作文.(设计意图:通过填空练习来进行词汇使用的巩固与检测;通过游戏加强学生对新单词的辩读能力;最后进行书写输出,培养学生的输出能力。)Step 4. Summary.(设计意图:通过短文方式进行小结,培养学生“寓词于句中”的知识运用能力。)Step 5. Homework.Write a Moment on Wechat with pictures, and share it to your teacher or your friends.(设计意图:布置作业,检测学生对知识的掌握程度,并培养学生写的输出能力。)
