Q1:Where did he live? Q2:Who was his friend? Q3:How did the mouse help the lion?2. Check the answer 3. Read the sentences with the right intonation.1. Read and choose the right intonation.Show them Wh-questions.Then let students guess the intonation. T: Do you remember the intonation that I used to ask? Was it falling intonation or rising intonation? Try to read them and tell me the right intonation.特殊疑问句读降调。【设计意图:通过对问题的回答复习storytime,并引出特殊疑问词,为进入Sound time做好准备。】Step 2 Presentation1. Show the picture of sound time.Ask some questions about this picture. Where are you going?What do you want to buy?Who is it for?What will he say?2. Watch the cartoon about intonation.T: Look at these questions. How do they ask them? Please listen.3. Listen and repeat the conversation. 4. Get the students to know the intonation of Wh-questions. T: If the questions begin with where, who, what, how, etc, we call them Wh-questions. We usually use a falling intonation. 5. Practice a dialogue with different intonation.【设计意图:由第一部分的问句,引导孩子读出正确的语音语调,利用新编的充满节奏感和趣味性的对话,让学生能够用正确地升降调读出来,巩固对不同语调的理解和使用。】Step 2 Cartoon time 1. Look at the first picture from the story. Talk about whos in the story and what they are doing. 2. Watch the cartoon and answer the question.What is the story about?A.Its about how to play table tennis well. B. Its about how to get the ball. C. Its about how to get the water.3. Read and ordera. Finally, Sam and Bobby find a hole in the ground. b. Sam and Bobby are playing table tennis happily. c. He brings some water quickly and pours it into the hole. d. Sam is too excited and he hits the ball hard. e. Then, they cannot find the ball. f. Sam has an idea.【设计意图:通过排序题,让学生总体通读故事,对故事有个整体的把握。小组合作进行,发挥团队作用。让学生在小组同学的帮助下,共同进步。】4. Listen and repeat the story Imitate Sam and Bobby. 5. This story is from Aesops Fables.【设计意图:Sam 和Bobby 他们遇到问题能够动脑思考问题,由此引出来乌鸦喝水这个故事,这个故事来自伊索寓言,引出文化版块的教学。】Step 3 Culture time1. Present students two books. One is Aesops Fables. The other one is a Chinese idiom book. Show them some animal stories and ask about other animal stories they know. 2. Read after the recoder.【设计意图:让学生们总结伊索寓言和中华成语故事的共同点,都有很多关于动物的故事。并让学生列举一些这方便的故事。】Step 4 A Chant1. Finish with a chant. T: Weve known many animal stories. What do you think of stories? Finish the chant and read it together. Stories are _. Stories make us _. We _ from stories. Lets go and read _.We should read more books.【设计意图:以chant为总结,鼓励孩子多读书。】Step5.Homework:1.Read the story in the cartoon time twice and recite it.2. Read more animal stories after class.
