wordUnit 2 Water1 教学目标Language learning objectivesTo learn the new words and phrasesTo be familiar with waters journeySkill and ability objectiveTo develop listening and speaking skillsInstructional objectiveTo be aware of the preciousness of water2 学情分析我任教的是本校一个普通班级,在过去的两年多时间里,充分利用好教材(牛津教材)所提 供的丰富教学资源,我认真解析文本、创设语言学习环境、设计和实施教学活动,学生的英 语听说读写的能力得到了有效的训练和提升。3 重点难点本课教学内容是牛津教材 8B Chapter 6,是一篇关于水的科普性短文。文章较长,且有一 定难度,无法在 30 分钟时间内完成对整篇文章的教学,所以我选择文章中介绍水流程的一 段。原因是:1)这部分相对独立,意思完整;2)这部分是课文学习的教学重点;3)这部 分包含了本课的重点词汇。本课作为第一教时,我希望能突破教学的重点和难点,为后面的 教学打好基础,消除障碍。4 教学过程学时重点Language learning objectives1 / 6wordTo learn the new words and phrasesTo be familiar with waters journeySkill and ability objectiveTo develop listening and speaking skillsInstructional objectiveTo be aware of the preciousness of water学时难点作为科普性文章,单词有一定难度,需要进行图片,实物等引入帮助学生理解单词全文围绕水的旅程展开,对重要句型的运用有较高要求,需要进行铺垫教学活动活动 1【导入】课文导入:Do you want to know more about water? Do you want to talk with water? Can wat er talk? In todays lesson water can really talk. I am a drop of water today. You can call me Miss water. Look at the title “Water Talk”I will talk with you. It is a good chance for you to ask me some questions. Go ahead!How do you e here?Where can we see you?通过问题-“What does the sound make you think of?”,导入主题,活跃气氛,同时检 测学生已有知识。创设情景,明确师生角色。教师作为一滴水和学生展开对话。启发学生发问,激发学生的求 知欲望,真正体现了学生的学习主体性。以解决问题为主线开展教学是这节课的主要特点。2 / 6这节课的教学围绕三个主要问题展开:1)Where are you (water)? 2)What do you(wate r) do there? 3)How do you (water) e here?活动 2【讲授】单词教授和巩固Learning the new words and phrasesLead-in the new words and phrasesYou will see me in the cloud, waterfall, pipes.You can see me in the cloud. And I am floating fortably in the sky. Can you gue ss the Chinese float?You can see me in the waterfall. What is waterfall? I am speeding down the moun tain into the river. That is waterfall. Speed here is a verb, means move quickl y. Speed sped sped.You can see me in the pipes. How do I e to your bathroom from the pipes?People pump me into the bathroom. Pump can also be used as a verb. It means pus h by machine.Practising the new wordsNow youve learned new words, try to learn them by heart.(a game-hot seat)I need chairs. Which game will we play?Lets play the game hot seat as usual! You ca n find the answer in your text.Listening carefully about the text, I have two questions for you.How long is my journey?-24 daysWhat do you think of the journey? I have been to a lot of places, such as(2) Reading the textLets find the places in our text . Open your books. Page 75 . I know you dont like it, but you have to .本节课的三个高潮分别是 1)猜词竞赛活动;2)水流程接龙竞赛;3)有关水的 quiz 活动。 在竞赛活动中,学习积极性得到了激发,所学语言知识得到了运用,语言能力得到了有效的 锻炼,潜能得到了激发。我在日常教学中一直坚持使用类似的教学方法和策略,并取得较好 教学效果6 / 6
