In this period we will train the students writing ability.First,in Activity 1 well learn the connection between the words in A and those in B,such as hill and hilly;mountain and mountainous;coast and coastal;desert and desert.Time permitting,teach the students more knowledge about word formation.Then complete the sentences with words from Activity 1.Then well do another word practice in Activity 3,which is matching the words in the box with their meanings.In Activity 4,there is a passage,from which well learn how to describe a region.After that,write a short description of the region you live in,including information in Activity 4.(If time is unlimited,it can be homework.)
