一、教案背景:现在由于环境的恶化,人类的乱捕滥猎,各种野生动物的生存正在面临着各种各样的威胁。近100年,物种灭绝的速度已超过了自然灭绝速度的100倍,现在每天都有100多种生物从地球上消失。我国也已经有10多种哺乳类动物灭绝,还有20多种珍稀动物面临灭绝。而它们的灭绝会导致许多可被用于制造新药的分子归于消失,还会导致许多有助于农作物战胜恶劣气候的基因归于消失,甚至引起新的瘟疫,由此所造成的损失是我们永远也无法挽回的。因此,通过本节课的学习,希望能让学生懂得保护野生动物的重要性。要知道,其实保护生物链条,保护生态平衡就是保护人类自己。二、教学课题:Join in 六年级上册Unit Three Animals in danger 第二课时三、教材分析:1、教学内容:Join in 六年级上册Unit Three Animals in danger第二课时,这部分主要学习两篇文章: Save Chinas tigers and The snow leopard里面的新句型和单词如:There were South China Tigers about two million years ago;There is one big problem: people kill snow leopards and sell their beautiful fur, etc. 以及让学生通过学习,明白生态平衡的重要性,从而懂得保护野生动物,保护环境。2、教学目标:A. 能读懂Save Chinas tigers and The snow leopard这两篇文章。B. 能流利地读出新词, 如:million, few, between, South China Tiger, difficult, see, problem, kill, etc. C. 能运用所学知识,用英语简单描述一下自己所喜欢的动物。 3、教学重、难点:A. 能读懂课文,并能听、说、认读单词million, South China Tiger, few, left, between, difficult, problem, kill, sell, 以及新句型South China Tigers are the most precious of all tigers./ But today there are very few left./ It is very difficult to see snow leopard, etc。B. 能朗读课文,并运用所学知识,描述自己喜欢的动物。四、教学方法:本课时主要是运用任务型的教学方法进行教学,巩固练习部分也会有相应的教学游戏作为辅助。五、教学过程:Step 1 Warm-upA. Lets sing: The alphabet rock. (学生边唱边做动作)B. Free talk:T: I like animals. My favourite animals are dogs. Because dogs are lovely. What about you? Whats favourite animals? And why?Ss: I like. Because they are .(如果部分内容不能用英语说出来,可以用中文回答)Step 2 Presentation(教师在黑板上画一座山)A. T:Look, this is a mountain. Its big. Have ever been to a mountain? (Ss: Yes. / No. ) OK, today lets go to the mountain together, and see what animals will appear. 然后,教师出示课件,教学South China Tiger and snow leopard. T: They are precious animals. But they are in danger. Do you want to know why? S: Yes. T: OK, Now lets read the questions and the texts and try to find out the answers. 然后老师出示问题:A. Were there South China Tigers two millions years ago? B. How many South China Tigers left today?C. What is the big problem about snow leopard? D. Why do the people want to get the beautiful fur? 学生默读课文。T: OK, now, lets try to answer the questions. (通过回答,检查学生对课文的理解情况,如果学生不会回答,老师可引导学生回答,同时进行新词million, South China Tiger, few, left, between, difficult, problem, kill, sell,或新句型South China Tigers are the most precious of all tigers./ But today there are very few left./ It is very difficult to see snow leopard, etc的教学) B. Step 4 ConsolidationGroup work: Save the wild animals. 拯救野生动物以5人一个小组为单位,画出一种珍贵的动物,并运用所学知识写写为什么这种动物珍贵或濒临绝种,因此呼吁人们要保护野生动物。Step 5 Homework1. Listen and read the texts2. Make sentences with the new words. 3. Describe your favourite animal and draw it. 板书设计: Save the wild animalsSouth China Tigers snow leopardthe most precious difficult to seefew left one big problembetween ten to thirty kill and sell六、教学反思:这课时主要是以任务型教学贯穿整个课堂,学生带着问题进行阅读,这让学生在阅读时有所目标,就会阅读得更加细致。在解答问题的过程中进行新知识的教授,也要比直接出示新内容的效果强得多,因为学生要得知自己的答案是否正确,就会更认真地去学习新知识,学生由要我学变成我要学。这样老师就不用担心学生的纪律问题了。一节课下来,学生对这课时的知识掌握得比较理想其实,教师在英语教学实践中,完全不必拘泥于某种程式,而应深刻领悟每一种教学方法的内涵、实质,创造性地设计符合自己教学实际的方法、模式。设合自己的,才是最好的
