Divide the class into groups of four. Ask each group to look at the sentences in Part B on page90 2. set a time limit of two minutes. The groups pete to see who can plete sentences in the shortest time. Ask group that finishes first to read out the answer. The rest of class decide whether the answers are correct or wrong. 3. Alternatively, you could ask student to plete Part B on their own . For more able students, ask them to plete the sentences without referring back to the reading passage. For less able students, tell them to refer back to pages 88 and 99. Step3.1. Explain the instructions for Part C1 carefully. Revise the names of clothing items first. Ask students to find the name of the Class 1 students in the passage.2. Ask the students to do part c1. check answers as a class activity.3. ask the students to do part c2. for weaker classes, you may need to revise keywords and simple past tense forms: wore, silk.4. Tell the students to write out correct sentences for those that are false.Step4.1. Remind students to check key vocabulary that are on their flash cards, vocabulary books etc.2.
