七年级英语Unit2 I like the red one教案 外研版Preparationl Ss neednt wear their school uniform to school on that day. They are asked to wear their favourite and colourful clothes to school. The teacher himself / herself must wear as colourful clothes as possible.Step 1 Revision and Presentationl Move around the class and point to the clothes on the teacher or on the student, saying “What colour is this ?” or “What colour are these?”. Ss learn to say at least five colours: red, blue, brown, yellow, black.Step 2 Practisel Ss answer the teachers questions “What colour is this?” or “What colour are these?” randomly according to their real clothes colour.l Ask the Ss to try to guess: What is my favourite colour? Do you know? Can you guess? Write their different answers on the blackboard.( If they dont know my favourite colour in English, then tell them to ask you the question “How do you say . in English?” ) Step 3 Present the articles of clothing.l Pointing at the different pieces of clothing on the Ss, learn and review the new words. If it is a new word, get the Ss to repeat them and write them up on the board:shirt jeans dress shoes.l Point to the different pieces of clothing and ask Ss “What is it /are they?” l Chain drill : Ss ask each other “What is it /are they?” ,pointing at the real clothing on them. l Ask the Ss to say: the black shoes; the white shirt; the yellow dress .Note: You can take the same step as you did in Step 2, Unit 1.Step 4 Guessing gamel Ask one student to stand in front of the class with the back facing us.l Other Ss ask him/her : What colour is XXXs shirt, dress, blouse.?What colour are XXXs shoes, trousers, socks.?l When his/her answer is right, he /she can e back to the seat.l Other Ss can take turns to e to the blackboard to guess other Ss clothes colour. See who guess the most answers right according to their memory.Step 5 Work in pairsl Ask Ss to colour the pictures on Page 117. 1) Show Ss three different colour shirts to the class. Then point at the pictures and present the structures as follows:T:Which shirt do you like? S1:I like the red one.(Mark the picture with a “”) S2:I like the yellow one a lot.(Mark the picture with two “”) Yellow is my favourite. (Mark the picture with two “”)2) Ss talk about and tick each others pictures, using the structure as above.3) Then the teacher shows Ss different colour dresses to the class and present the structures as follows:T: Which one do you like? S1:I dont like the black one.(Mark the picture with “ ”)But I like the red one (Mark the picture with two “”)Red one is my favourite.(Mark the picture with two “”)4) Ss talk about each others pictures as above and mark each others pictures.l Let the Ss guess how much the teacher likes their clothes in the form below. Step 6 Interview l Encourage the Ss to leave their seats to interview the teachers and classmates around, trying to get information about what colour clothes they like and how much they like them.l Report Choose some to report what they have interviewed.Step 7 Project (out-of-class task) l Task: Design Ss own school clothes.l Procedure:1) Divide the Ss into groups of three to four.2) Each group first designs a form as follows, making a survey of at least six Ss: What colour and what style school clothes do the Ss like?3) Students design their ideal school clothes with pictures and brief introduction in English.4) As it is ready, display them on the wall for Ss to vote and decide which one is the best school clothes.5) Report the best school clothesdesigned to the headmaster.
