Its on the bed. Is it on the desk? Yes it is./No it isnt. Its on the floor .Are the books in the backpack? Yes they are ./ No they arent .And so on.Step 2:Presentation Show some pictures on the screen.They are on soccer ball, basketball, Ping-Pong ball, volleyball,ect. Let the students know some knowledge.Step 3:New words. Make a Powerpoint including the items of sports presented in this class.Show it on the screen by a projector.Point to the tennis racket and say tennis racket.Students repeat it.Repeat this activity several times until the students can read the vocabulary words fluently and accurately.Step 4:1b Listen and circle the words you hear. Ask the students to listen to the tape and circle the words thy hear.Check the answers. Answers:ping-pong bat, computer game.Step 5:2a 2b Listening Point to the pictures and ask the students to look at the names in them carefully.Play the recording for the first time.Students only listen,and the second time.This time ask the students to fill in the boxes.
