Do you have a baseball?No, I dont.2: Ability Objects :Train students listening ,speaking skill .Train students communicative competence using the key vocabulary and the target language.3:Moral Object :Do sports in your spare time.Its good for your health.:Teaching Key Points:Names of sports.Ask and answer questions about ownership.:Teaching Difficulties :Ask and answer questions about ownership:Teaching MethodsScene teaching method .Pairwork.A game.:Teaching aids A tape recorder ; CAI powerpoint Design for teaching :Step 1:Revision Look at the Flash and revise the sentences: Where is your coat? Its on the bed. Is it on the desk? Yes it is./No it isnt. Its on the floor .Are the books in the backpack? Yes they are ./ No they arent .And so on.Step 2:Presentation Show some pictures on the screen.They are on soccer ball, basketball, Ping-Pong ball, volleyball,ect. Let the students know some knowledge.Step 3:New words. Make a Powerpoint including the items of sports presented in this class.Show it on the screen by a projector.Point to the tennis racket and say tennis racket.Students repeat it.Repeat this activity several times until the students can read the vocabulary words fluently and accurately.Step 4:1b Listen and circle the words you hear. Ask the students to listen to the tape and circle the words thy hear.Check the answers. Answers:ping-pong bat, computer game.Step 5:2a 2b Listening Point to the pictures and ask the students to look at the names in them carefully.Play the recording for the first time.Students only listen,and the second time.This time ask the students to fill in the boxes. Answers:3 , 1 , 4 , 2 . Play the recording twice.Students listen and write them from the pictures in activity 2a in the boxes before the correct balls the second time they hear it. Answers:3 , 2 , 1 , 4 .(The first activity provides practice listening for special information.The second activity provides practice recognizing the key vocabulary words in natural speech.)Step 6:Dialogue According to the screen and the teacher points to a soccer and asks:Do you have a soccer ball?Students answer:Yes I do. Or No I dont.Repeat this activity several times until the students can answer them fluently and accurately.Step 7: 2c Ask and answer Focus students attention on the illustration and elicit the name of each item from it. Ask the students what the things are and where they are.Ask the students:Is the room the same as yours or different from yours? Demonstrate conversations with a student like this: T: Do you have a soccer ball? S: Yes , I do. T: Do you have a baseball bat? S: No , I dont. Students practice in pairs.Step 8:Grammar Focus Show the sentences on the screen and illustrate them including do-does dont-doesnt. Do you have a TV? Yes, I do/ No, I dont. Do they have a computer? Yes, they do./ No, they dont. Does he have a tennis racket? Yes, he does./ No, he doesnt. Does she have a soccer ball? Yes, she does./No, she doesnt.Step 9:Summary and homework 1:Do 1a after class. 2:Practice 2c in pairs. 3:Make up 3 conversations and write them in the exercise books.
